Ten years ago I started my Bachelor in Texts & Copy at Westerdals advertising school, and I have since worked with all kinds of communication, PR, start ups and advertising agencies.

My experience includes working with big brands such as Coca-Cola, Plan International, Red Cross, Norwegian, Mills, ATEA, the TV-aksjonen, UNICEF, Fretex (the Salvation army), IKEA, Gilde, BI Norwegian Business School, AV-OG-TIL, Kari Traa, Supermarket chain MENY etc. In my work I have been fortunate enough to work on campaigns that have create actual change in our society. Like “Stop the Wedding” for Plan Norway and the blood donor campaign “Make Klara Great Again” for the Red Cross which generated over 5000 new blood donors.

I have a strategic brain and a knack for conceptual thinking, but my heart beats for communication that really makes a difference.

I particularly like to find out why people do what they do, and create communication based on these insights. I am passionate about trends (big and small), new technology, computer-driven insights, talking to people and understanding what drives them.

I believe that a broad understanding of the customer, is always the starting point for making relevant communication. This is an approach to marketing that I find to be particularly successful in new digital media.

In new media you can’t lean only on paying for people’s attention, you have to be relevant. I love the internet and how democratizing it is. There are no longer a few leaders able to “talk to the small ones”, if you are lucky you can talk to people. On social media, everyone has a voice.

I believe that one must always continue to learn. No one is born World champion, but anyone can take responsibility for their own growth.

When I am not working I usually try to experience something new (but it can be a small thing, like a new book I have been longing to read). I am from Gothenburg, but I have had my base in Oslo since 2006. Loving it here but not constricted to stay, life is an adventure!

One more thing …

I am also a big foodie! So if you like some creativity in the Kitchen as well, then check out Ketolivet on Instagram! https://www.instagram.com/ketolivet/
